Christmas festivies will begin in Edgerton on Friday, December 5th with the arrival of the Soo Line Steam Locomotive #1003. Come and welcome Santa Claus as he takes a short break from the North Pole - he is leaving things in good hands with his very busy elves. (There will be no Santa visits Friday evening, just handshakes and greetings.) Friday evening activities include musical entertainment on the Depot Deck.

Saturday is full of holiday fun starting with a wheel squealing, horn blowing and steam puffing at approximately 7 a.m. as the Steam Train and Santa Claus get ready to great their many, many guests. Come early to get your free tickets to see Santa. A breakfast (pancakes, sausages, and beverages) will be available at the Tri-County Community Center at 112 Swft Street. As you wait your turn to see Santa there will be musical entertainment and an opportunity to see the Polar Express being shown at the Edgerton Public Library at 101 Albion Street. Also on hand to greet our many visitors will be local mascots such as the A & W Bear, Mr. Pigg, Rascal the Racoon, elves, snowman and many more. Don't forget your cameras!!
